PulseBreath Privacy Policy

What this app collects, why it collects it, and what you can ask us to delete.

PulseBreath is a guided breathing, focus, and relaxation app provided by Gowalk. This policy explains what the app stores on your device, what limited data may be processed by our service providers, and the choices available to you.

Summary

  • PulseBreath does not require an account.
  • Your breathing history, custom patterns, preferences, reminder settings, and progress remain on your device.
  • Analytics and crash diagnostics are off by default. You may enable or disable them in Settings at any time.
  • Subscription purchases use Apple App Store or Google Play billing. PulseBreath does not receive your full payment

card details.

  • PulseBreath does not sell personal data, show ads, or use data to track you across other companies' apps or sites.
  • PulseBreath is not a medical device and does not collect HealthKit or other health-record data.

Data stored only on your device

PulseBreath stores the following locally so the app can provide its core features:

  • completed breathing and focus sessions, including duration and completion time;
  • streaks, weekly minutes, and other progress calculated from those sessions;
  • custom breathing patterns;
  • theme, audio, haptic, reminder, and privacy preferences; and
  • the local onboarding state.

This information is not uploaded by PulseBreath. You can export practice history as a CSV file using the explicit export action. You choose where that exported file goes. You can delete individual sessions or use Settings → Erase all data to remove locally stored practice data and custom patterns. Uninstalling the app also removes its local data, subject to normal device backup behavior controlled by Apple, Google, or your device settings.

Purchases and subscriptions

If you buy or restore Premium, Apple App Store or Google Play processes the transaction. To provide and restore the entitlement, the store billing system and our purchase service may process purchase history, product identifier, transaction or entitlement status, app instance information, and device or other identifiers. This processing is required for subscription functionality and fraud-resistant entitlement restoration.

PulseBreath does not receive or store your full payment-card number. Purchase history and device identifiers are used for app functionality and, where applicable, service analytics. They are not used by PulseBreath for cross-app tracking.

Optional analytics and diagnostics

The Settings control named “Share app diagnostics” is off by default. If you turn it on, Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics may collect:

  • app interactions, such as opening the app, beginning or completing a session, using a focus timer, viewing a

paywall, restoring a purchase, saving a pattern, exporting history, or enabling a reminder;

  • crash logs;
  • performance and other diagnostic data;
  • device or other identifiers; and
  • approximate location, such as a coarse region inferred by the service.

These data are used for analytics, app stability, troubleshooting, and app functionality. Store disclosures classify them as collected but not linked to your identity and not used for tracking. Turning the control off stops future Analytics and Crashlytics collection from the app. A change does not retroactively remove data already processed.

Notifications and device permissions

Daily reminders are optional. PulseBreath requests notification permission only after you choose to enable a reminder. Reminder scheduling is local to your device.

The core breathing and focus experience does not require camera, photo-library, or precise-location access. Embedded support or web content may offer a user-initiated action that can request camera, photo, or while-in-use location access. The operating system presents its permission prompt before access. You may deny it without losing the core breathing, focus, history, or timer features.

Service providers and sharing

Limited data may be processed by these service providers only to deliver the functions described above:

  • Apple App Store and Google Play for purchases, subscription management, and distribution;
  • Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics for optional analytics, stability, and diagnostics; and
  • Gowalk's app-delivery services for onboarding, paywall presentation, and purchase entitlement support.

PulseBreath does not sell personal data. It does not share data for third-party advertising and does not display ads. Service providers may process data on our behalf under their own security and legal obligations. Data may also be disclosed if required by law or necessary to protect users, the service, or legal rights.

Security, retention, and international processing

Data transmitted to service providers is encrypted in transit. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but access is limited to what is needed to operate and protect the app.

Local practice data remains until you erase it or remove the app. Store transaction records are retained by Apple or Google under their transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, and legal requirements. Optional analytics and diagnostics are retained according to the relevant service's operational retention settings. Service providers may process data in countries other than your own, with protections required by applicable law.

Your choices and deletion

You can:

  • keep diagnostics off, or turn them off later in Settings;
  • decline notifications or change notification access in system settings;
  • export practice history before deleting it;
  • delete individual sessions or use Settings → Erase all data; and
  • manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.

Because PulseBreath has no user account, we cannot identify local app data on your device from an email address. For a request concerning optional diagnostics or another service-processed record, use the support form below and include the platform and approximate date involved. Do not include breathing history or other sensitive information in the request.

Children

PulseBreath is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided information through an optional service, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Wellness disclaimer

PulseBreath supports relaxation, stress management, and focus. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Stop a breathing exercise if it feels uncomfortable and seek appropriate professional advice when needed.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, its service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected in the published policy before the related app behavior is released.
